2024 Countdown - Our Top 10 Highlights!

Hello, Be Sharp families!

As we wrap up another incredible year, we’re looking back at the highlights of 2024. From growing our team and families to launching new programs and watching our students shine, this year was packed with unforgettable milestones. Let’s hit play and rewind on our top moments of the year.

10. Carolers Spread Holiday Cheer

This year, we launched our very first Be Sharp Christmas Choir. Our talented carolers performed at the Lion's Carol Sing, Grandwood Retirement Home, and our holiday concert. It was a joyful way to connect with our community and celebrate the season through song.

9. New Faces, New Tunes

We welcomed so many wonderful new students to the Be Sharp family this year. Watching your musical journeys begin and grow has been the heart of everything we do.

8. Growing Our Team

We were thrilled to welcome Lydia and Gabriela to our teaching team this year. Their passion, creativity, and warmth have made them instant favourites with students and parents alike.

7. Musical Milestones: Two Student Albums

We released two student albums in 2024: Be Sharp’s Walk of Fame (June) and Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice (December). These recordings captured each student’s progress and personality. They also gave everyone a chance to experience the excitement of recording in a real studio.

6. Two Unforgettable Recitals

From “Welcome to Old Hollywood” in July to “Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice” in December, our recitals were full of heart, energy, and applause. Our students continue to impress us with their stage presence and musical growth.

5. Our Growing Families

This year brought two beautiful additions to the Be Sharp family. Studio owners Ellie and Nick welcomed baby Hera in August, and our wonderful teacher Amanda welcomed her son in October. The lullabies are flowing, and so is the love!

4. Music Every Day

We say it every year, and we mean it every time. Making music with our students is the best part of what we do. Whether you're just starting out or preparing for a performance, we’re so proud of your dedication and passion.

3. Cozy New Studio Space

In 2024, we opened the doors to our brand-new studio, complete with three lesson rooms designed for comfort, creativity, and inspiration. With cozy furniture, great lighting, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's a space that reflects our values and supports our students' success.

2. Camp Quest Takes Off!

This was the year Camp Quest officially launched. We now offer summer camp, March Break camp, and PD Day camps in both Thamesford and Embro. With themed weeks, outdoor fun, music-making, crafts, and new friendships, Camp Quest quickly became a favourite for kids and families alike.
