OUR MISSION

At Be Sharp Academy of the Arts, we strive to make the arts accessible to all ages and skill levels through music lessons and a wide range of artistic experiences. With offerings in piano, voice, guitar, percussion, musical theatre, drama, and more, our student-led approach ensures personalized and exciting learning experiences.
We aim to create a supportive environment that celebrates and values all members of our community; students, families, and staff.
As we grow, we aspire to offer more lessons in further areas of the arts, providing a space for everyone to freely explore their interests. We will always strive to give high-quality lessons and exceptional customer service.
OUR VALUES

We value the uniqueness of each student and embrace their individual goals and learning styles. We demonstrate this through personalized lesson plans that cater to every students specific needs and goals, fostering creativity and self-expression.

We also value open communication & collaboration between our students and teachers, as well as creating a respectful environment between our students, families, and teaching staff. This helps us establish and maintain shared goals and expectations, and ensures an exceptional learning experience!
OUR HISTORY
​
Established in 2022, Be Sharp Academy of the Arts is driven by a passion for music education and a vision to create a distinctive learning experience. Born out of a need for a dedicated music school in our town, we seized the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
​
Our initial goal was to go beyond traditional teaching by providing students with a comprehensive understanding of how different instruments intertwine and complement each other. Over time, our vision expanded to embrace a broader celebration of creativity and the arts.

In our first year of operation, we have experienced remarkable growth! We've grown to become a vibrant community of nearly 50 students who have eagerly embraced our diverse range of programs. From musical theatre and duet classes to drama, musical theatre, circus arts, and watercolour painting, we take pride in introducing innovative offerings.
Be Sharp Academy of the Arts is currently the sole institution in our area that seamlessly integrates performance and visual arts, group lessons, specialized courses, and well-equipped lesson rooms. We look forward to expending to offer lessons and classes in further areas of the arts as we grow!
